The Olympics kick off tomorrow and Movaya has recently added two new great games to our catalog from our partner Sega - Sonic at the Olympics and Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

“Featuring rich graphics, quality audio and one-thumb controls, Beijing 2008 and Sonic at the Olympic Games both complement and extend the video game line-up for the Olympic Games,” said Linda Chaplin, Vice President of SEGA Mobile. “These two games are great examples of the fun that can be had on the mobile platform – quality, snack-sized games that are easy to pick up and play, are challenging and fun, yet difficult to put down.”

I personally love Sonic and I will be spending some time this weekend seeing how well I can do with him in the hurdles.

So was I asleep when they announced this bad boy or is this news to you as well? In verifying an E71 spec this morning I noticed the block above on the E71 product page. WCDMA 850/2100? An in, a version that will work in the US and in Europe? As in, WCDMA Band V (Australia, Canada, USA, parts of South America, parts of Asia) and WCDMA Band I (Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, Brazil)? Between this and the recent revelation that the N85 will have a tri-band WCDMA radio, it almost looks like Nokia is starting to like us over here on this side of the pond…

See for yourself.

Now Proporta is jumping in with a deal for iPod 3rd-gen nano and classic owners. If you buy any other case for the classic or nano, Proporta will throw in a Playback Pack free. Since the Playback Pack comes with a Stereo Y Splitter and a pair of earphones in addition to the retro cassette-case-inspired case/stand for the iPod, that’s like a total value of… I’ve lost count. Anyway, it’s a good deal. Check out your options here and here!
